1. Scope of these Terms

These Terms govern only your application to join Twindle as a creator or studio — creating an account, verifying your email, and submitting your onboarding profile.

They do not grant you any right to publish, and they do not cover:

• ownership or licensing of any content you may later publish;
• revenue share, pricing, or payouts;
• distribution rights or platform obligations.

Those are governed by a separate Creator Agreement, offered only if your application is approved. Nothing in these Terms creates a publishing, distribution, or payment relationship between us.

2. Who we are

3. Eligibility

Individual applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Age is verified against the date of birth you provide during onboarding, and applications from anyone under 18 are rejected automatically.

Applications may also be made by a studio — a registered legal entity. Where a studio applies, the individual submitting the application:

• must be authorised to act on behalf of that entity; and
• must be authorised to provide the contact details of the individual named as the studio's contact person (see section 5).

The age check does not apply to studio accounts, as the account holder is a legal entity rather than a natural person.

You must also be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.

4. Accounts and email verification

Accounts are created and accessed using a one-time passcode sent to your email address. There is no password.

You agree that:

• the email address you provide is one you control;
• you will keep access to that inbox secure;
• anyone who can read one-time passcodes sent to that inbox can access your account;
• you will tell us at contact@twindle.app if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

5. Information you provide

You agree that all information you submit during onboarding is accurate, current, and yours to provide. This includes, depending on the account type:

• Individual creators: full name, date of birth, location, languages, social links, bio, and an optional reference code.
• Studios: studio name, website, location, languages, social links, and the name, role, and email address of a contact person.
• Proposed work (metadata only): title, summary, genres, tags, and episode count.

Where you provide us with the personal data of another person — specifically a studio contact person — you confirm that you have the authority to do so and that you have informed that person their details have been shared with us. How we handle their data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Submitting a proposed title, summary, or other metadata is for assessment purposes only. It does not transfer any rights in your work to us and does not create any licence.

6. Review and approval

Every application and profile is reviewed by our internal teams before an account is activated.

• Approval is at our sole discretion and is not guaranteed.
• We may approve, reject, or ask for further information.
• We may reverse an approval if information later proves inaccurate or misleading.
• We are not obliged to give reasons for a rejection.

Approval of your application means only that you are invited to proceed to the Creator Agreement stage. It is not an offer to publish, distribute, or pay for your work.

7. Acceptable use during sign-up

You agree not to:

• submit false, impersonated, or misleading information;
• apply on behalf of a person or entity without authorisation;
• attempt to circumvent the age restriction;
• submit material during onboarding that is unlawful, or that infringes another person's rights;
• interfere with, probe, or attempt to disrupt the sign-up service or its underlying infrastructure;
• automate or bulk-submit applications.

We may suspend or reject an application, or delete an account, for breach of this section.

8. Ending your account

You may ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing contact@twindle.app. We will action the request and respond within 30 days.

On deletion we erase your profile, your onboarding status, and any material you submitted. As explained in the Privacy Policy, we retain a record of your acceptance of these Terms for legal purposes.

We may suspend or delete an account that breaches these Terms.

9. Service availability

The sign-up and onboarding service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend, or withdraw it — including the creator programme itself — at any time before an application is approved.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, or opportunity arising from your use of the sign-up and onboarding service or from a decision not to approve your application.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Each version carries its own effective date, and the version in force at the time of your acceptance is the version that applies to that acceptance. Prior versions are archived and retrievable.

If we make material changes, you may be asked to accept the new version before continuing to use the service.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights available to you under the law of your country of residence.
